Roberto González Casarrubio en UK

Autor con escasísimas referencias en nuestro país, apenas unas líneas en el diccionario de Jesús Cuadrado y unas pocas imagenes en los blogs Historietistas Españoles del amigo Kraustex y el de Viñetas de Joan Navarro.
Algo totalmente injusto, y que gracias a David Roach intentaremos solucionar, pues ya veréis que se trata de un sólido dibujante que merece mucha más consideración.
Por cierto, ¿os gusta el logo que he puesto para destacar estas entradas?, ¿te gusta, David?
Una curiosidad que en realidad ya no lo es tanto: fijaos cómo a partir de 1961 su estilo cambia, del clásico americano pasa a dibujar en la misma onda del grupo de dibujantes de Selecciones ilustradas, y eso que Casarrubio no me consta que trabajara para el mercado británico a través de Toutain.

Casarrubio, como suele firmar, nació en Madrid en 1936, inicia sus colaboraciones como dibujante en la revista Chicos, a continuación trabaja para Opera Mundi (París), World Press (Bruselas) y Fleetway Publications (Londres).

Raúl sigue diseccionando día tras día la actualidad, ilustrando artículos de opinión en el diario La Razón.




Jóvenes en la calle, sobre los acampados de Sol (y otros lugares) y La difícil digestión (siempre el guiño al comic), sobre el brusco aterrizaje que todos hemos sufrido en mayor o menor medida, son 2 de sus últimos trabajos, difícil decir más con menos elementos.

Eduardo Feito en UK

Eduardo Feito se dió a conocer en nuestro país en el año 1972 en la mítica Trinca, con la historieta Antes que Troya cayera, bien resuelta y dibujada, no parecía tratarse de la obra de un recien llegado y de hecho no lo era, como vemos a continuación. Al año siguiente comenzó una nueva historia, Fabio, que se vió interrumpida por la cancelación de Trinca y que creo que no llegó a publicarse nunca completa.
